Sunday Funday

Sunday Funday!

On the way to meet some friends

Sunday I met up with my friend Jack, Collin, and Tony and we went to a swimming pool at a Hotel called the Inter-Burgo around 3pm. We met up with a guy named Josh and his girlfriend Miang. It was a lot of fun watching the kids at the pool and just hanging out.

Downtown

Next, Jack and I went Downtown to meet up with some of his girl friends.  We took a cab from the hotel to downtown, Deagu. The girls were super friendly. Mostly American, but one from South Africa. We went to eat Smothered Chicken from this cute restaurant (I can't remember the Korean name for it). It was super good! It was chicken, potatoes, carrots, onions, and these clear glass noodles, that looked like fettucini (really yummy). The food is served family style. They give you a pair of scissors to cut up the noodles and buckets for the chicken bones.  I'll tell you that whatever sauce they cook it with is fantastic!!!! We ate that plate so fast, I could have eaten more.

We polished that off super fast

Next, we split off into two groups. A few people went to meet up with some friends at a bar, but Breanna, Jack , and I went to a DVD Bong (DVD Room). You choose a movie  in English or in Korean (they have subtitles) and then you get your own private room to watch it. We watched a Korean Vampire movie, which was really good. It was the first vampire movie that has come out of Korea, so I guess it was a big deal. It was really long, but had a good plot. A priest became a vampire and the movie was about all of the sins that came his way. It was very well made. The room was comfy and I intend to return. After the movie was over I went home!
