Lost with No Phone

I left work early on Wednesday to meet my friend one more time before she leaves back to Austin. I got directions from my co-workers on how to get downtown and then I got directions from Mya on how to get her house. They were very good directions....

Start Time: 7:00pm
Take the 410 Bus downtown....check
Take the Subway to Sawol....check
Take the 100 Bus to Mya's......ooops!
Took the 100-1....not the same bus
Walked around for 45 mins borrowing phones....couldn't reach Mya
Got ready to take the bus back to the subway....got a hold of Mya at last
"Where are you?" ......... "I have no clue!"
A Korean on her end spoke to Korean on my end
Took a cab somewhere......Made it to "Mya's"
Borrowed another phone....Mya found me
End Time: 9:30pm

Hung out for a bit.....Bed by midnight

Start Time: 10:30am
Take the 100 Bus to the subway.....Check
Take the Subway to Downtown.....Check
Take the 410 Bus back to school.....ooops!
Had no idea which one of the 30 exits to take from the Subway station
Started walking....found some help
Take the 410 Bus.....Check
Stopped at McDonald's for lunch
Take a cab home.....Check
End Time: 11:45pm

Took a shower....

Start Time: 1:15pm
Walk to work....Check
Work all day.....Check
Walk Home.....Check
End Time: 10:30pm

I learned a valuable lesson: Make sure you follow the directions exactly and know which exit to take out of the subway!

I did a really good job on this journey: no tears...no frustration....no worries!
